Mauros is the priest of Hades, the holy land which protects Pluto. Hades had been a subject of fear during the Rainbow Millennium--the sacred ground of pluto was known as a land of darkness and sorrow. The reputation of it's priest was equally as terrifying; living in darkness, a cold, paranoid man whose screams could be heard in the night. It's not surprising that Hades gained this reputation, however, since it's interior is as black as night, with glassy obsidian mountains and black marble temples. Even the flowers that bloom on Hades are black. 

 When Sailor Charon was killed and the three powers were split apart, it came as no surprise that Mauros joined Nemesis. His place, however, is somewhat more unclear. He allows himself to be pushed around by Coeus until something shatters their relationship apart. It is then that Mauros becomes the most anguished and destructive general yet seen...
